On this month's edition of our podcast, "Higher Ed News You Can Use From Onondaga Community College," we introduce you to Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer Eunice Williams. She began teaching at OCC in 1996 and has overseen diversity-related efforts for the last 11 years.
Among the highlights of her tenure, the student-led Unity Day which began in 2018. The campus-wide event is an opportunity for students to express their identities in a welcoming, embracing atmosphere while learning about other people's identities. In Williams role she also oversees OCC's Diversity Council, and Student Conversation Circles.
