What is needed to process your transcript?

Requests for transcripts must be made through the Parchment Storefront or at Student Central. In order to request a transcript through the Parchment Storefront, you will need to create an account, which takes less than a minute, and you MUST provide your FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, and DATE OF BIRTH in order for the Parchment system to find your transcript data.  

Why is your signature required?

To protect your right of privacy and the confidentiality of your transcript. Your signature is required by Federal Law to authorize the release of your transcript. A parent, spouse or domestic partner may not receive your transcript without your signed release. This is why a phone call, e-mail, or third party request cannot be accepted.

How much does it cost?

Onondaga charges $10 per transcript

USPS International is an additional $5 per transcript

Fed Ex Domestic is an additional $25 per transcript

Fed Ex International Priority is an additional $47.50 per transcript

Request in person?

You can request a transcript in person by bringing your ID to the Student Central counter. If requesting in person, you can pay via credit card, money order or cash. NO checks will be accepted.

Requests by phone?

Phone requests are not accepted.

Does Onondaga send electronic, faxed or emailed transcripts?

Onondaga Community College provides E-transcripts through our partnership with Parchment. Transcripts are only emailed if they are ordered through the Parchment Storefront. Official transcripts cannot be faxed. Unofficial transcripts can only be faxed if accompanied by a release from the student.

Transcript by Overnight Mail?

The fastest way to have your transcript delivered is to order an E-transcript through the Parchment Storefront. E-transcripts are delivered immediately to the recipient. If you require that a paper transcript be mailed to the recipient, you can request Fed Ex delivery for an additional $25 upon checking out.

How long will it take for the transcript to be mailed?

E-transcripts are delivered immediately to the recipient. Requests for paper mailings usually take 2-3 business days for delivery.
